How do I create a trip?

From your dashboard, click Start Your Campaign (on the My Trips page the button is New Trip) to create a draft campaign.

The campaign builder walks you through four steps, shown at the top of the page:

1. Details — add your first and last name, a profile photo, your campaign name, and travel dates (exact dates or estimated months).
2. Trip Story — write your trip description and build your itinerary with Destinations and attractions.
3. Funding Goal — set the amount you'd like to raise, with an optional budget calculator to help you estimate costs.
4. Launch Campaign — review the readiness checklist, verify your email address, and take your campaign live.

You don't need to connect a bank account to launch — contributions are held safely for you, and you can set up payouts from the Payouts page whenever you're ready. (If you're under 18, a Responsible Party must finish bank setup before you can launch.)

All your changes are saved automatically as a draft. You can leave and come back to any step at any time before you launch.
