My payout failed. What do I do?

If a payout to your bank account fails, Stripe will automatically retry. Common causes:

• Wrong routing or account number — re-enter your bank details from the Funding page
• Account closed — link a new bank account
• Bank rejected the deposit — contact your bank, then re-trigger the payout

You'll get an email from Stripe whenever a payout fails. The funds remain in your Stripe balance and can be re-paid out to a working account at any time.
