My payout failed. What do I do?

If a payout to your bank account fails, Stripe will automatically retry. Common causes:

Wrong routing or account number — re-enter your bank details from the Payouts page
Account closed — link a new bank account
Bank rejected the deposit — contact your bank, then wait for the next automatic payout

You'll get an email whenever a payout fails. The funds remain safely in your balance and pay out to a working account on the next weekly run.
